- I'm a recent graduate of the University of Puget Sound in Tacoma, WA. My degree was in International Political Economy. I was born and raised in Wichita, KS. I'm starting a 2 year Peace Corps Service in June of 2008 and will be in Mauritania until August of 2010 teaching English.

Make a Starving Brandon in Africa Happy...
This is my REAL address for the duration of my time here. It should take like 3 weeks for stuff to get to me. Any kind of snack foods, canned foods, spices, cake mixes, peanut butter... and most importantly drink mixes, like kool-aid... loved and welcome. And candy that can survive the trip! I talked to Brandon Friday, he is with his host family. He probably won't have access to a computer for a little while. He can get calls. He said the best time would be around 1-3 p.m. He is living with a large family in a large house. It is two stories. There is only one or two in the house that speak french, but they speak it fast. After he learns more french, he will have to learn the arabic language. He also said he doesn't know how he is going to lose weight, they feed him well.
